Churches Together in Britain and Ireland
living spirituality network
about
Vision
- To be an open space for theological reflection and exploration
- To ask questions which deepen and challenge and move us forward
- To ‘fly kites'
- To live the tensions that arise in spirituality
- To listen and respond to the people the churches do not meet - both inside and outside the churches
How we work
- Taking new initiatives in the area of spirituality: organising local and national gatherings, encouraging dialogue and local networking
- Reading the signs of the times and sharing newly emerging information, analysis, insights and experience in the field of spirituality and religion
- Distributing Living Spirituality News three times a year, with information, news and reviews, new writing and profiles of groups and individuals who are pushing the boundaries in their exploration of spirituality
- Meeting our supporters at our Gatherings, which explore important aspects of contemporary spirituality and offer the opportunity to meet like-minded people from all over Britain and Ireland
- Serving a conduit for contacts and information
- Providing resources: we support a well-stocked library at our base in Milton Keynes (personal visits, by arrangement and postal requests are both welcome)
- Networking with individuals, groups and other networks with similar interests and aims including those involved in justice and peace, sustainable living, and the arts
