christian youth work training network
The Christian Youth Work Training Network is a network of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. It links those who have responsibility for training and resourcing volunteer youth workers in the churches and Christian agencies of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Aims
- To foster and co-ordinate a broad alliance of churches and agencies engaged in youth work training.
- To identify and develop best practice in voluntary church-related youth work training.
- To resource churches and others to enable them to support, train and equip those working in this field.
What does the Network do?
The network convenes an annual 24 hour conference so that those responsible for youth work training in the four nations can meet face to face, consider current issues and undertake some training and development exercises for themselves.
