Scottish Parliamentary elections in May 2011
Hustings Guidance for the Scottish Parliamentary elections in May 2011 is now on the Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office website, on the Hustings Guidance Section, available either to download or to view online. There is also a page on the website for election information: http://www.actsparl.org/elections2011.aspx which is being regularly updated.

The Archbishop of York will be opening the Big Environment Celebration at York Minster taking place on Saturday 28 May as part of the Diocese of York's Year of the Environment.
New Church of England website
The Church of England's website http://www.churchofengland.org/ has recently been redesigned and relaunched. One section within this new user-friendly site relates to the ‘Church in Parliament' and hosts pages with parliamentary briefings on current legislation and topical public policy concerns. Closing Gathering of the Poverty Truth Commission
The Poverty Truth Commission http://www.povertytruthcommission.org is an independent body bringing together civic leaders, policy makers and people with a direct experience of poverty, supported by the Church of Scotland and Faith in Community Scotland..
