When should I register?
We encourage everyone who is interested in organising an event in a constituency to register their details as soon as possible. Others can then contact you to co-ordinate activity.

How do I register an event?
You can either add your event details when you initially register or add them later when you have the details finalised (see How do I change my details? below).
Do I need to do anything more after I've registered?
After you have registered for the first time you will be sent a confirmation email. You must click on the link within this (or cut and paste it into your browser) to ‘validate' your email address. Your information cannot be published unless you do this.
How do I get a password?
This will be emailed to you once you have confirmed your email address (see above).
I've lost my password. How do I get another one?
Go to www.ctbi.org.uk/electionregistration and look for the section ‘Update your details'. Click on the ‘Lost password' link, enter the email address you had previously registered, and click ‘Request new password'. You will be emailed a new one.
Why isn't my information being displayed when I search for events in my constituency?
You must first ‘validate' your email address (see Do I need to do anything more after I've registered? above). Your information will then be checked by an administrator before being published. You will receive an email to confirm that it has been published.
Can I register more than one event?
Yes, but we need to set this up for you. Please send us an email saying how many events you would like to register.
How do I change my details?
Go to www.ctbi.org.uk/electionregistration. Look for the section ‘Update your details', then enter your email address and password in the box and click ‘Login'. Select ‘Edit my information' and you will see the form with your details.
Should I delete my details later if I'm not the event organiser?
If you have registered an initial interest in organising a husting but someone else has entered the actual event details, you may want to delete your details so that people no longer try to contact you. Follow the instructions above under ‘How do I change my details' and select ‘Delete my information'. You need to click on ‘Confirm it's OK to delete your record' to completely remove your information from the system.
