china desk
china online study centre
Over the years, the China Desk has brought together a range of resources to help improve the understanding, of those in the UK, of China and the churches in China.
The China Desk has an ongoing research programme, in cooperation with the University of Birmingham, to document and monitor Chinese social and political trends, particularly in connection with religious developments. This programme covers both Christian and other religious groups, and seeks to be as objective and analytical as possible. Much of the material has been translated from articles written by Chinese academic researchers and is published in the China Study Journal.
The China Desk also provides a network of contacts available for presentations and briefings.
China Online Study Centre
The China Online Study Centre has been created as a separate website, which provides resources for teachers, schools and churches who seek to add new dimensions to their classes, Sunday schools and services which reflect the increasing participation of their Chinese members:

New resource
One new educational resource, linked to the Scottish 5-14 curriculum and the curriculum for excellence, is now available. This is a useful resource not just for those in Scotland, but for all primary school teachers looking for material to educate and inspire their pupils on the Chinese situation.
